Kopi Toraja Dipromosikan di Shanghai

TCN -- Kopi toraja menjadi salah satu jenis kopi asal Indonesia yang akan disediakan di paviliun Indonesia selama pameran Shanghai Expo di China selama bulan Mei-Oktober 2010. Selain itu, juga disajikan hidangan nasi goreng, mie goreng dan sate sebagai makanan khas Indonesia. Demikian diberitakan Media Indonesia.com(13/4).
"Sasaran kita dengan promosi di China ini bukan cuma untuk masyarakat China saja, tetapi lebih luas. Nasi goreng kita kan punya keistimewaan karena pakai kecap, terasi, dan telor ceplok," kata Menteri Perdagangan Mari Elka Pangestu usai memberikan pidato kunci dalam Lokakarya Meningkatkan Daya Saing di Era Liberalisasi perdagangan yang digelar oleh Ikatan Sarjana Ekonomi Indonesia (ISEI) di Jakarta, Selasa (13/4).
Mendag mengatakan makanan, olaraga dan film merupakan tiga hal yang menjadi ikon suatu negara. Oleh karena itu, pada pameran kali ini, pihaknya memilih tiga makanan tersebut untuk diperkenalkan pada dunia.
Paviliun Indonesia juga akan menyediakan berbagai kopi khas Indonesia seperti kopi luwak dan kopi toraja. "Karena ini berlangsung di Shanghai, kita juga promosikan es Shanghai. Kerupuk juga kita ikutkan," ujarnya. (Ant/OL-04).
